Anthology of Light – Chapter of Mr. Adams
It is my honor to have a photo shoot with Mr. Adams, the 78 years old librarian of a local high school, a father of three children, the legend of forty years’ dedication to student service.
The last afternoon he stayed, sunshine poured in, late summer flower blossomed. Mr. Adams helped a student to check out a book, returning on October 20, when, by then, the fall should has gone far, where greens would be little to be found.
Old friends came by. They hung, they reminisced, they padded shoulders and they sighed: “It is the end of an era”. Mr. Adams didn’t say a word but stared outdoor, where a sparrow chirped and circled, disappearing into the golden dawn light of October.
